I put in a lamb roast in my sous vide yesterday and it will be ready this evening. I noticed that air got into the bag. I think it has a small leak. Can we safely eat this?

Air in the bag should be fine. Also, the meat can release gas as it cooks which can inflate the bag some. In most sous vide cooking the important thing is really the temperature, not the vacuum.
