I recently interviewed Chelsea Cole on the Makin' Bacon Podcast and I felt this was an important part to highlight.
"You just spent 6 to 12 months writing the book, so spend two weeks to figure out how to put out a print book." - Jason Logsdon
When I give presentations I always ask my audience how many downloadable PDF cookbooks they have purchased - and most say zero or maybe two or three. Then I ask how many printed cookbooks they have purchased - and most say 50 to 100, or even more.
So why do you think your audience is so different?
Writing a book is hard...publishing a printed book is easy. You don't need much money, you don't need a place to store inventory, and you don't need to ship anything out yourself.
What is holding you back from taking a PDF you've already written and turning it into a printed cookbook? Let me know in the Makin Bacon Facebook Group or the comments below.
